George Zaibaq, OD

Dr. George Zaibaq received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston in 1983 and a Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1986. He completed his clinical training at the University of Houston Eye Institute and the Hebrew University Hospital Ophthalmology Department in Jerusalem.

He completed a therapeutic optometry course in 1992 and an advanced therapeutic Optometry and lasers in 1993. In October 2000, Dr. Zaibaq completed an " Optometric Glaucoma Specialist " program at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston, Texas. He is currently licensed as an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist by the Texas Optometry Board. He has privileges at the Laser Eye Institute of Houston where he co-manages LASIK Laser Vision Correction procedures. Dr. Zaibaq has been in practice since 1986 and been serving the Fondren Southwest area and the Bellaire - Meyerland area since 1989. Dr. Zaibaq sees patients at the Sugar Land Town Square office 2 days a week. He is a member of the Houston Southwest Chamber of Commerce, The Fort Bend Chamber of Commerce, The Texas Optometric Association, and the American Optometric Association. He served and continues to serve on many civic boards as well as many charitable organizations that promote public health especially in developing countries. Dr. Zaibaq's practice concentrates on Laser Vision Correction, Comprehensive Eye Care, Treatment and Management of Eye Disease, Glaucoma and specialty contact lens services.


 
Casey Johnston, OD

Dr. Casey Johnston was born and raised in northern Florida. He graduated magna cum laude from Florida State University and then went on to graduate summa cum laude from The University of Houston College of Optometry. Dr. Johnston is a licensed Texas therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist. He has extensive training in the diagnosis and management of various ocular diseases including: diabetes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, uveitis and corneal diseases. He has experience co-managing many ocular surgeries including: cataract, retinal detachment/tear repair, LASIK/PRK, eyelid surgery, pterygium excision and refractive intraocular lens exchange.

Dr. Johnston has received awards from The University of Houston College of Optometry for clinical excellence in patient care, contact lenses, and optics. He serves as clinical faculty at the University of Houston and in 2014 was given the Outstanding Clinical Faculty Award.

In his free time, Dr. Johnston enjoys exercising, eating good food and spending quality time with his wife (also an optometrist) and their 4 dogs. He sees patients at both the Meyerland and Sugar Land locations.
